Application technology | Precise slurry spreading

Precise, low-loss, and low-emission distribution of farm fertiliser has become vital. Slurry must be spread close to the ground or worked directly into the soil. This is where a precise application technique comes in. Choose the elements to match your needs. BRIRI offers the entire range for nutrient-rich, soil-friendly slurry spreading in cooperation with manufacturers who have specialised in the development of highly efficient spreading equipment.

Our partners in fertiliser distribution include:

Vogelsang | Drag-hose and drag-shoe linkage

Drag-hose linkages spread the slurry with pinpoint accuracy while ensuring best nutrient retention. To achieve this, they spread slurry close to the ground where wind cannot attack it. A much greater share of the nutrients contained will then reach the plants. Nutrient emissions are significantly reduced, and less mineral fertiliser is required as compared to broad distribution.

Vogelsang has developed working widths of up to 36 metres for precise slurry spreading with the SwingMax, SwingUp, and UniSpread booms to reduce operating costs even further. This system achieves precise distribution supporting uniform growth and maturing times of the plants.

The drag shoe of the BlackBird, SwingUp Slide, and SwingMax Slide booms divides the crop while spreading, depositing slurry efficiently on the ground.

Vogelsang drag-hose systems and drag-shoe linkages can be fitted to all BRIRI slurry tankers irrespective of tank size, tyres, or pump system.

Bomech | Drag shoe linkage

Drag-shoe linkages optimise the spreading of slurry on grassland, in grain, and on fields. The crop is opened, and the slurry is deposited directly on the ground. This technique allows the plants to absorb the nutrients directly through the soil while avoiding leaf contamination at the same time.
The specially shaped Bomech drag shoe is also referred to as an injector shoe or injector foot. It is made of hardened steel and can have spreading widths of up to 30 metres. Various types of drag-shoe spreaders such as Speedy, Farmer, or Multi ones permit ideal adaptation of slurry spreading to even the most difficult terrain conditions. These precision distributors are known for very precise slurry distribution, long service lives, and their ability to spread both low and very high quantities of slurry.
Bomech B. V. drag-shoe linkages can be fitted to all BRIRI slurry tankers irrespective of tank size, tyres, or pump system.

Duport | Slurry injector

Injection devices such as a slurry injector produce the lowest emissions and ensure low-loss and soil-friendly slurry spreading. They are best for use on light and sandy soils.

The Duport range includes the All Track Farmer, All Track, and All Track Twin for larger farms and contractors. They will work slurry into a wide range of soil conditions.

Duport slurry injectors can be fitted to all BRIRI slurry tanks, irrespective of tank size.

Evers Agro | Strip-Till

The strip-till method merges the advantages of conventional tillage with the soil-protecting benefits of direct sowing. Rather than loosening up soil across the entire area, only the subsequent seeding and planting strips will be treated with loosening tools. About two-thirds of the ground area will remain unprocessed this way. Direct application of the fertiliser to the root area also considerably increases nutrient availability and water storage. Long periods of heat and drought can thus be bridged more and more effectively in future.

Evers Agro will reduce tillage passes by one with its Quarter type row injector. The sward will be kept mostly intact in processing, reducing weed pressure and giving plants best use of the applied fertiliser. In addition, the soil life remains intact and the performance of the soil is maintained in autumn and spring.

Evers Agro strip-till devices from can be fitted to any BRIRI slurry tanker, irrespective of tank size.

Meyer | Grubber und Scheibenegge

A cultivator can serve multiple functions in several different tasks, on heavy or light soils or in areas that are difficult to cultivate. Its large rigid tines avoid soil compaction, permitting deep cultivation even of those field sections that are usually difficult to cultivate, such as headlands. This results in healthy, water-permeable, and well-rooted soil.

The disc harrow as an application technique is suitable for all soil types, and in particular for complete stubble cultivation. It warrants a good germination bed, rapid decomposition, and optimal crumbling of the soil.

Our partners, Agrarservice Meyer and Evers Agro, offer various cultivator and disc harrow types for sustainable soil cultivation. Choose the right spreading technology for your specific requirement from a range that goes from compact disc harrows to stubble cultivators.

The cultivators and disc harrows can be fitted to all BRIRI slurry tanks, irrespective of tank size.

BRIRI | Baffle plate

Baffle plates are used for wide distribution of slurry. Slurry will be pressed out after opening the slider. The liquid bounces against a metal plate and is distributed evenly across the entire width.

Wide spreading with a baffle head is only permitted on grassland or uncultivated arable land in Germany at this point. The slurry then must be worked into the field immediately.

The BRIRI baffle plates can be used as water cannons on the barrel without any issues, however.
